GADA Dance Instructor

My Bio

Lisa Warner has studied dance for over 30 years, including instruction in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, and modern. She studied under various teachers in Arizona and performed with dance/cheer teams, local dance companies, as well as regional performances throughout Arizona while in high school and college.

Lisa obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance education, as well as a Masters of Education from Arizona State University. She has taught dance for over twenty years at many dance studios in the Arizona area and will begin her 10th year as an instructor at Greater Austin Dance Academy.  With her dance certification, she also served as a high school dance teacher while in Arizona.  Lisa has been a guest choreographer for many high school dance programs and guest choreographer for high school theater productions, including South Pacific and My Fair Lady.

Lisa is currently the Leap ‘n Learn Director at GADA and loves the opportunity to teach the younger children.  She is also the drill team director at Brentwood Christian School.  In addition, she will be serving as the Brentwood Christian School’s musical theater choreographer.

Lisa and her husband, Tom, relocated to Austin 10 years ago and have three teenage daughters who have grown up dancing at GADA!  Lisa is thrilled to share her talents and be a part of the Greater Austin Dance Academy faculty.
