Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Ballet Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ballet, with the ability to teach advanced ballet classes and beginner to intermediate levels in a variety of other

dance styles.

Key Responsibilities:

● Teach advanced ballet classes with a focus on technique, artistry, and performance.

● Instruct beginner and intermediate classes in other styles, such as contemporary, jazz, tap, or hip-hop.

● Choreograph and teach routines for annual spring recitals.

● Mentor students, fostering their growth in both technical and creative aspects of dance.

● Contribute to studio events, performances, and conventions as needed.

● Assist with refining and improving the studio’s curriculum and pedagogy, especially for the ballet program.

● Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

● Experience teaching and performing ballet at advanced levels.

● Proficiency in a variety of dance styles for beginner and intermediate levels.

● Choreographic experience, particularly in ballet or related styles.

● Passion for working with students of all ages and skill levels.

● Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

● A collaborative spirit and a positive attitude.

Preferred Skills:

● Degree in dance or related field.

● Experience with musical theater dance styles and choreography.

● Familiarity with beginner to intermediate dance pedagogy.
