Jessica O’Brien was born and raised in Austin, TX. She grew up loving to sing and dance with Julie Andrews and the entire cast of The Sound Music on replay! She most recently Choreographed Bright Star at the Georgetown Palace Theatre this Spring after her debut co-direction and choreography last year with Once On This Island there last May of 2023. After joining the Board at the Georgetown Palace Theatre in the Spring of 2022, she developed a passion for excellence in the arts. As well as a growing belief in what is possible for the future of the Arts in the greater Austin area for years to come.

Jessica is also a proud Cedar Ridge High School alum under the award winning direction and choreography of Kristie Copeland. She has been fortunate enough to have performed on many stages across the greater Austin area including The Parker Jazz Club with ATX Musicals’ En’Tracte, ZACH, The Zilker Hillside Theatre, Summer Stock Austin, The Ground Floor Theatre, TexArts, and Trinity Street Players. These opportunities provided her with the gift of working alongside some of the best in the craft of Musical Theatre here in central Texas.
