My Bio

Sarah is from Wichita Falls, Texas where she grew up dancing at Dance Etc. She has
had extensive training in ballet, jazz, tap, modern, contemporary, lyrical, and pointe. She has also trained at Wichita Falls Youth Ballet Academy for many years. Sarah has been part of her studios performing company and was part of the first competitive team in 2014. Going into high school she was part of her high school’s dance team. Sarah had the privilege to be a sophomore and junior lieutenant for 2 years and captain her senior year in 2020. After graduating she had the absolute honor of going to Kilgore College in Kilgore, Tx where she was on the 81st Line of the World-Famous Kilgore College Rangerettes. While being a Rangerette, she has gotten to perform at the Cotton Bowl Classic, Macys Thanksgiving Day Parage, and the 80th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. In 2021, Sarah was also a member of the 7th generation of “Industry” a pre-professional modern company part of the dance department in Kilgore under the direction of Angela Aulds. After graduating with an associate’s degree in dance from Kilgore College Sarah transferred to the University of Texas at Austin where she is currently a BFA dance major in the UTeach Dance program. Sarah has had the opportunity to perform in UT fall and spring shows since transferring. Currently, she will be doing her student internship in the fall and in the spring will be doing her student teaching to graduate from UT in the year of 2025. Sarah has loved teaching at GADA and appreciates the supportive environment the studio brings!
